🩷:WHAT IS RUBY IN ZOISITE? Also known as Anyolite, Ruby in Zoisite has a deep Ruby stone within a Green Zoisite stone. The stone can vary alot in color, pattern and hardness. The zoisite provides the earthy green color and black webs (tschermakite) that occur, while the ruby inclusions can be both pink and red.
🩷:WHERE IT'S FOUND? Found in Tanzania. The stone was first found at the Mundarara Mine, near Longido, Tanzania in 1954. In 2010 a 2 kilogram stone called the Gem of Tanzania was sold for £8000. The stone is also widely found in India.
